Abstract submission to QFS2010

A) Download the files needed to prepare your Abstract

1) Download the style file QFS2010abs.sty and the template (example file) einstein_QG_theory.tex (click here to download the files) (and here for McIntosh format)

2) Download these instructions (click here)

B) Prepare your Abstract TeX file

1) Use the template to generate the TeX file of your Abstract. Simply replace the text of the template by your own text. Follow the instructions given in the template.

2) The maximum space for your text is limited. To check the space available and the length of your text, uncomment the « \MakeFrametrue » line. After checking, place again the « % » symbol in front of this line.

3) Note that you should select a « Sorting category » for your Abstract. The sorting categories and codes are found below and in the template. Uncomment only one of the sorting codes following the example.

C) Rename your abstract file in the format :

__.tex

for example : einstein_QG_theory.tex

D) We shall convert your TeX file to pdf.

If possible, check that your TeX file leads to a good pdf document by compiling it using the style file QFS2010abs.sty, before sending your Abstract.

E) Send the TeX file of your Abstract as an attached document to

qfs2010.abstracts@grenoble.cnrs.fr

A) Select the Section in which the article to be submitted should belong, among the list :

B) The manuscripts can be submitted as RevTeX or as MS WORD.

Use the templates provided (download TeX here, and MSWORD here ), which also show examples of Figures that satisfy the standard of the Journal, to prepare the manuscript. Figures in color will be presented in color on the JLTP "online" at no charge.

Authors should begin the caption for each figure in color by : (color online) However the figures will be printed black/white on the JLTP "hard copy" issue. Upon request by the authors, colored figures can also be printed in color on the "hard copy", but at extra cost to the authors.

C) The corresponding authors of an article should e-mail to qfs2010.proceedings@grenoble.cnrs.fr

a) The pdf version of the manuscript

b) The names of 4 or 5 suitable referees together with their e-mail addresses

D) The length of the papers should be kept to a maximum of 8 pages for contributed oral- and poster presentations and to 13 pages for invited and plenary oral presentations. The format of the pages is that of the template.

E) Manuscripts should be submitted on-line following the instructions given on the website http://www.edmgr.com/jltp. The corresponding author should connect directly to the site and upload all of his manuscript files by following the instructions given on the screen.

F) The author is required to insert in the box ”Please Enter Comments” the mention :

“Article belongs to Special issue QFS2010 – Section 4 Hydrogen”, for example, one of the sections listed in item A). This mention is very important

G) Once the article has been accepted for publication, the corresponding author will receive a message from Springer with questions regarding the transfer of copyright and the ordering of reprints which can be responded to by simple clicking. Once this is completed, the corresponding author will receive proofs to examine and correct. After the final proof correction by the printer, the article will appear as “online first” in the JLTP - Springer webpage http://springerlink.metapress.com/content/104917/

Once all the accepted articles have appeared “online first”, the Conference Organizers

will arrange them in the correct order for publication in the “special issue” of JLTP

Workshop on “Structural and dynamic properties of QFS studied by neutron and X-ray scattering”

This satellite workshop of QFS2010 will gather the experts in the theory and experimental properties of quantum fluids investigated by neutron or X-ray scattering and other techniques giving access to the structure and elementary excitations of quantum fluids and solids.

Topics include solid or liquid ⁴He, ³He, hydrogen ; bulk and low dimensional quantum phases, transitions, excitations, defects, etc.

The meeting consist exclusively of short oral presentations followed by a debate.
